About Natural Health Daily
Natural Health Daily is plain-spoken wellness for women over 40. We write the way we’d explain something to a friend at the kitchen table: the research, plainly told, by someone who’s actually read it.
Editorial team
Articles on this site are produced by the Natural Health Daily editorial team — a small group of writers and researchers working under the editorial direction of Daxwell Tomking, founder of Praslin Digital, the publisher of Natural Health Daily. Every article carries the “Natural Health Daily editorial” byline because it has gone through our editorial review, regardless of who first drafted it.
We do not ghost-author content under fake personal names. Google penalises ghost-authored health content, but more importantly, you deserve to know who’s behind what you read.
Sourcing standards
Every article on NHD must:
- Cite a specific researcher, institution, or study when making any health claim — never “studies have shown” without a name.
- Hedge appropriately: “may support”, “some research suggests”, “some users report”. We do not promise outcomes.
- Link to at least two authoritative external sources (PubMed, NIH, Mayo Clinic, Cochrane, Harvard Health) — never to other affiliate sites.
- Pass a duplicate-content check; we do not paraphrase other health blogs.
- Disclose affiliate relationships above the first affiliate link in every article.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on Natural Health Daily are affiliate links. If you click one and purchase the product, NHD may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this above the first affiliate link in every article.
Editorial independence is non-negotiable. Affiliate status does not determine which products we cover, what we say about them, or how prominently they appear. We say what we’d say to a friend, full stop. If a product we’re affiliated with underperforms in our research, we say so. If a product we’re not affiliated with is the better answer, we recommend it anyway.
Medical disclaimer
Content on Natural Health Daily is published for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your doctor before starting any supplement, protocol, or change to your routine — especially if you have a diagnosed condition, take medication, or are pregnant or nursing.
We are not a medical practice. We are an editorial site that reads the research and reports on it in plain English.
What we cover
- Sleep — circadian protocols, supplement timing, the 7am cortisol-magnesium window, why melatonin doesn’t fix sleep over 40.
- Energy — mitochondrial health, daily fatigue patterns, the difference between “tired” and “exhausted”.
- Gut health — microbiome basics, gut-brain axis, when probiotics actually help and when they don’t.
- Hormones & menopause — perimenopausal sleep loss, oestrogen-driven brain fog, what the research actually says.
- Joints & recovery — collagen timing, anti-inflammatory protocols, the 11-week realistic timeline for measurable change.
Cadence
We publish three new articles a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and post one daily reference card on Pinterest. Articles are 1,200–1,800 words, written at a 7th–8th grade reading level so you can actually finish them at 9pm on your phone.
